SUNDAY MORNINGS FROM 10:00 AM – NOON
KID ZONE is a PLACE of LOVE and LEARNING for the LITTLE ONES from BIRTH through 5th GRADE
Our Nursery is for babies from birth-2 years old and is available during both the Worship and Life Class hours, beginning at 9:15am. Our team of Nursery volunteers are friendly, helpful, and loving! They will answer any questions you have, and more importantly, they will take care of your precious little ones and share the love of Christ with them!
The Toddler room is for ages 2-3 years old. These kiddos stay in the worship service for the worship songs then are dismissed to their class with the other children. If you stay for the Life Class hour, these little ones will also stay in their class for a Bible lesson geared toward their age. We have a lovely team of teachers and helpers who are devoted to preparing activities that help the children learn more about the God who loves them (see more info below).
Children from 4 years old-5th grade stay in the worship service for the worship songs then are dismissed to Kid Zone for the remainder of the Worship Hour. During this time they will stay together as one group, where they will be engaged in a circle time (this includes “Meet & Greet,” a getting to know you activity, and prayer), worship songs, occasional games & crafts, and a generalized Bible story. Following the Worship hour, kids will then be dismissed to their respective Life Class (see more info below)
CHILDREN’S LIFE CLASSES
Toddlers aged 2-3 years (teachers: Miss Suzie & Miss Alice)
Pre-K – 1st Grade (teacher: Miss Connie)
2nd – 5th Grade (teachers: Miss Rosie & Miss Linda)
During the Life Class hour, children will be engaged in Bible lessons that are geared toward their age group. This will be the “heart” of their Bible education at church, so please don’t skip out on the Life Class hour! It could be life changing… Beginning Sept. 2015, we’ll be using the Gospel Project curriculum, which takes us on a journey through the Bible – “kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.”
