Going to college can be difficult and stressful time for anyone. Students can benefit by becoming part of a church body with which to fellowship and grow. At FBC, our college ministry is dedicated to building real community and real relationships with those around us. We want students to come to our college group to be loved, but also to be challenged. FBC college ministry is a place to belong and a place to grow.

Sunday Morning Bible Study - (Sundays, 11:00 AM)

At First Baptist’s college ministry, we are committed to the Word of God. On Sunday mornings, immediately following the worship service, the college group meets for Sunday School. This Fall our college ministry teaching team will be leading the group through the New Testament book of Romans. We are convinced that the study, interpretation, and application of God's word are central to a growing relationship with the Lord.

Underground - (Sundays, 7:30 PM)

“The Underground” is a First Baptist college group ministry that we do on Sunday nights. This ministry is based around "cell groups" which provide an avenue to build relationships with other students, and the format to hold one another accountable. Cell group members build each other up as men and women of God and worship together. Food is served at the church at 7:30 and the Underground starts shortly after. Underground is on Facebook.

Adopt-a-Student

Adopt-a-Student is a FBC college program where college students have a chance to get involved with and feel accepted by a local church body while away from their home church. Church families sign up to adopt a student for a semester. An adopting family prays with and for their student and serves as a local family for him or her.
