Children's Ministry
Our children learn to worship God in Children's
Church
Sunday School (Nursery provided for ages birth - 2 years old)
Toddler's - This class teaches young children more about Jesus and our Heavenly Father. Safety is a major concern at First Baptist. All workers must pass a background check prior to working with children or youth..
4 - 5 year olds - This class and the 2-3 year olds class are both learning Old Testament stories of Moses, Samuel and David. Lessons include: Learning about God's love; Learning to love and obey God; Learning to show God's love.
1st - 6th grade - This fall the curriculum is "My Guide to Giving." The theme is that God wants me to show his love by giving generously to others. Example lessons include: Mary anoints Jesus with perfume; Jesus tells a rich man to give all; and Barnabas sells a field.
Children’s Church
During the Sunday morning worship service. Two programs: for older and younger preschool children. A nursery is also provided for children under 2.
Awana
 |
A Biblically based weekly
program for children ages 3 through 6th Grade, whose mission is to reach
boys and girls with the gospel of Christ. Awana meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. |
