About FBC Golden

We are a community of about 200 people from the Golden / west metro area who have found a common faith in the person of Jesus Christ, the Bible, and the God of the Bible. The church is affiliated with the Conservative Baptist Association, Rocky Mountain CBA

The purpose of First Baptist Church of Golden is to help individuals glorify God by building people into a community of maturing, ministering, and multiplying disciples of Jesus Christ. Our ministry slogan is: Building Disciples for a Changing World.

We place a high priority on Bible learning in the context of caring, sharing relationships, which is the stated purpose of our Sunday School program. Discipleship has been a major emphasis.

We regularly meet at the building pictured below. The church is within walking distance of Golden High School and the Colorado School of Mines, which presents us with several ministry opportunities. Our church has an active college group, and we host a significant ministry to the many international students at Mines.

Regardless of where you are at in your own spiritual life, God cares deeply about you. We'd like to share that care and concern with you. You're welcome to stop by our offices during the week, or join us any time, at First Baptist Church of Golden!
